I agree with your point of view entirely. I think your discussion is
logical and good, but incomplete. It is missing two crucial coroborating
lines of reason: astronomy and Biblical exegisis. As a chapter or part of
a discussion it is excellent, however. I suggest you combine it with 1) a
discussion from Reasons to Believe
(http://www.reasons.org/), a
California organization run by Dr Hugh Ross, a very approachable
astronomer turned preacher, and 2) a discussion of other places in the
Bible where similar story-telling exists.
May I forward this to family & friends for discussion?
I suggest Reasons to Believe as a publisher. They have of course a
web site, and also publish books.
