The Synchro-Cyclotron

• A cyclotron traps the electron, then accelerates it. It operates at resonanceand therefore needs to be synchronized.

• The maximum energy is determined by maximum gyroradius allowed by the pole magnet. It is efficient, center fed, rim exit.
